Mr. Myron Lipshitz is a supporting character in Wendell & Vinnie. He is Wendell and Vinnie's grumpy landlord. He is played by Dan Castellaneta.

Description

He is Wendell and Vinnie's landlord, as well as the head of the condo association that owns their apartment. Mr. Lipshitz is usually grumpy and humorless, and he dislikes when people make fun of his last name. However, he is compassionate deep down. He initially hates Vinnie but becomes more tolerating of Vinnie throughout the show.

History

In the episode "Vinnie & Wendell," Mr. Lipshitz angrily shows Vinnie a petition signed by the condo's other residents. The petition calls for Vinnie to stop playing video games because they are so noisy. Vinnie pretends that Wendell is the one playing the video games, and he tells Mr. Lipshitz that the games help Wendell cope with the loss of his parents. Stunned and sorry, Mr. Lipshitz says he'll forget about the petition and lets the noise continue. However, Vinnie was actually lying: he is the one who plays video games all the time, not Wendell.

Later on in the episode, Vinnie tells Wendell that their neighbor (Taryn) is going for a jog in the park wearing booty shorts. Wendell is confused and asks if Vinnie is talking about Mr. Lipshitz. Disgusted, Vinnie gets a mental image of Mr. Lipshitz in shorts, then shakes it off.

In the episode "Valentines & the Cultural Experience," Mr. Lipshitz is shown to have an active love life. He comes home to the condo with a supermodel and tells Vinnie to be quiet.

In the episode "Mock Law & Order," Vinnie mentions Mr. Lipshitz after he hears about someone named "Stittsworth." He thinks Lipshitz is an even more unfortunate name than Stittsworth.
